Accenture (ACN) announces acquisition of Cloudworks

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has acquired Cloudworks, a leading Toronto-based Oracle Cloud implementation service provider in North America. The agreement further enhances Accenture’s ability to deliver Oracle solutions to customers as they transition to the cloud. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Cloudworks, founded in 2016, specializes in strategic, business and technology consulting and has become well known for its Oracle Cloud solutions for enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management and human capital management. Cloudworks has industry-leading robotic process automation (RPA), data analytics, and AI capabilities that help maximize the business value of customers’ investments in Oracle Cloud.

The company supports clients in multiple industries including transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, mining, oil and gas, utilities and energy, telecommunications and media , financial services, real estate, the public sector and higher education. The majority of Cloudworks’ 100 employees are located in Toronto, with additional offices in Calgary and other locations across the United States.
